Planning Appeal being considered

After a long period of consultation with South Oxon DC we were yet again refused planning permission in a decision dated 4th November 2021. Despite active support for our revised proposals from County Highways, we are now considering a second appeal. This site is part of the wider BEN4 allocation from the Benson Neighbourhood Plan. It would deliver up to 19 dwellings in an area with much pent-up demand, together with a policy compliant 40% affordable housing element.

Retirement Scheme Progress

Despite tacit support from the district planners, our clients application was refused by the planning committee in February. This proposal meets new local plan policy to support the ongoing requirement for retirement housing. Our clients have since progressed an appeal, with a hearing due at the end of April.

Two Promotion Agreements signed

We have recently signed two long-term promotion agreements with Caudwell & Sons Limited for potential housing schemes. These sites are likely to come forward in phases and we will be consulting with the local council and the Vale of White Horse District as our proposals emerge.
